A close and dear friend of ours, Ian Robinson, was diagnosed with a 3.2 x 1.8 cm Pineoblastoma W.H.O. grade IV which shows Gliosis and many Rosenthal Fibers in the center of his brain December 20th. He has gone through many surgeries and has no insurance. Ian was fortunate enough to have most his hospital bills covered by Medicaid and Medicare. We are trying to raise $10,000 plus a month to help him pay for his chemotherapy, medication and money to support him until he returns to full health. Extra funds will be redirected organizations like the American Cancer Society. •••UPDATE••• 4/06/07 Ian has already begun paying off his UMDNJ bills, and has been moved to Sloan Kettering. He will be admitted April 5th at 5pm to begin his pre-op procedures, and his final (we hope!) surgery is currently scheduled for the morning of April 6th. After this surgery we will know how much chemo and radiation he is going to have to have, and we will update accordingly.
